Elisabeth de La Poype, the designer is the youngest of a French aristocratic family. She fell in love with fabrics and colours at an early age. As a child in the family castle, she collected odds and ends of fabrics and was taught to sew by her mother. Elisabeth studied business and couture in Paris and New York. In 2006, she decided to turn her passion into her profession and founded Ivoy Paris.
